With the right permissions, you can cancel a job at any time, whether or not votes have been cast. The job initiator, content owner, collaborators and coordinator have the ability to cancel a job. Canceled jobs retain all of the job and document’s history, annotations, and details.
- In the Jobs board, click the job card of the job you'd like to cancel.
- Click "More actions" in the bottom toolbar.
- Click "Cancel Job."
- Provide a reason for cancellation.
- Click "Cancel Job."
Pepper Flow will update the job status to canceled, and the job card will move to the completed column on the Jobs board. The job’s initiator and collaborators will receive a notification about the cancellation.
Once a job has been canceled, the document version in that job can be deleted. For more information on how to delete a document version, see delete document.
Cancelling a job does not affect prior versions of the document. For example, if version 1 was in an approved state and a Revision job was started (for version 2) and cancelled, version 1 will remain in an approved state. Version 2 will be in a draft state. Note that clicking on the document in the library will by default load the most recent version of the document. To navigate to the approved version, click History, and select version 1.
