With R31 Vodori introduces three new lifecycle statuses for documents and claims:
- Withdrawn
- Rejected
- Canceled
These three end-of-life lifecycle states provide greater clarity into the status of your content.
Withdrawn
This lifecycle status indicates that documents and claims have been withdrawn before its scheduled expiration.
To withdraw a document, you must start a "Withdraw" workflow.
Note: If a piece reaches its expiration date, its status will be "Expired"
Rejected
Documents and claims will transition to the Rejected state after a "Reject" vote outcome on a workflow task in one of the following workflow types:
- A review and approval workflow
- New version approval
- A Pull Distribution workflow
Canceled
By default, Documents and claims transition to Canceled upon the cancellation of a workflow. These canceled versions are hidden by default from the Library but can be exposed through the filters. Start a cancellation workflow to stop progress on a document:
For a canceled document, a revision workflow must be used to revive the document.
How do I find this content?
Withdrawn, Rejected, and Canceled content can still be located in the Library. Here's how to find it:
- Navigate to Filters in the Library
- Click "All filters"
- Navigate to "Document state"
- Click "Show all"
