1. Open a web page
Open a web page that has a job in progress, then open the Chrome extension. You cannot add annotations in the Pepper Flow Viewer.
To open a web page in review,
- From Library or Jobs: Click a card for a Digital Review job, and you will automatically be taken to the web page. Once you are on the web page, open the extension.
- Tip: Each Digital Review job will appear with an external link icon after the document name.
- From the Viewer: Click “Open Webpage” in the task panel.
See find/view a Digital Review job for more information.
2. Confirm a job is in progress
Once you are on a web page, open the Chrome extension and check the “Task” tab to confirm a job is in progress. You cannot leave annotations on a job that is canceled or completed.
3. Add an annotation
You can add annotations on the web page, or you can add general annotations.
Add annotation on a web page
- Select the “Annotations” tab.
- In the bottom left, select “Add annotation to page.”
- This toggles on annotation mode. By default, this is off so that annotations don’t prevent you from interacting with the page.
- Click a spot on the page to leave an annotation.
- Note: As you hover, the tool will highlight the content the annotation will be tied to.
Add a general annotation
- Select the “Annotations” tab.
- Select “Add annotations” at the top, then select “Add general annotation.”
- Enter your text, then click “Add annotation.”
