Pepper Flow uses screenshots for historical and auditing purposes. For example, if you need to see what a web page looked like during a previous circulation, you can open the job in the Pepper Flow Viewer to see the previous version.
You can take and delete screenshots until the job is complete.
Take a screenshot
- Navigate to the "Screenshots" tab of an in-progress job.
- In the bottom of the panel, click "Take a screenshot".
- In the dropdown that appears, select the type of screenshot you’d like.
- If you select "Entire page" or "Visible part of page," make sure you don’t scroll or interact with the page as the app takes a screenshot.
- After you take a screenshot or select a file to upload, press "Add."
- After the app finishes adding the screenshot, press "Okay."
The screenshot will appear in the "Screenshots" tab.
Note: If you are working on a preparation task, you will need at least one screenshot before sending a web page for review. The extension will prompt you to take a screenshot if you try progressing without a screenshot.
View a screenshot
- Navigate to the "Screenshots" tab of an in-progress job.
- Hover over the screenshot you’d like to view.
- Click the magnifying glass icon.
- The full screenshot will load in a modal.
- Click "Close" in the bottom right when you’re done.
Delete a screenshot
- Navigate to the "Screenshots" tab of an in-progress job.
- Hover over the screenshot you’d like to delete.
- Click the trash can icon in the top left.
- Click "Delete".
Note: The extension requires each web page to have at least one screenshot. Therefore, if you have only one screenshot for a web page, you will not see the trash icon on hover.
Screenshot order
Screenshots appear in the order that you add them, with the first screenshot you take appearing first.
The order of the screenshots in the "Screenshots" tab is the same as the order you see in the Pepper Flow Viewer when viewing web page history.
The first screenshot is also used for the thumbnail in the Library.
Download screenshots
- Navigate to the "More…" tab.
- Click the "Download…" card.
- In the dropdown, select "Download screenshots".
The screenshots will download as .png images in a .zip file.
