Account Menu (Current Experience)

Note: This article covers the dynamic Account Menu as of our most recent update (R28+).  If you are looking for information about the user profile in our legacy experience (R27), please refer to this article.
 

The Account Menu allows all users to access their account settings, manage delegations, and switch to any other assigned personas. 

The Account Menu contains similar information for all users but may contain additional links and buttons depending on the user’s permissions. Specifically, when a user is assigned multiple personas, they appear in the “Other personas” table in their Account Menu. Personas are displayed with 3 key pieces of information: 

1. The app (C=Core, A=Admin Console)
2. The persona name
3. The environment 

Navigating Between Apps

Switching personas is required to navigate to a different app or to another tenant within the same app. For example, a user might navigate to the Core app Member persona within Sandbox to test new functionality. Similarly, switching to the Administrator persona in the Admin Console app enables the user to perform administrative tasks such as inviting new users, managing existing users, and more.

The Account Menu is accessible from all apps. Image 1 represents the Account Menu for a user currently in the Core platform. To navigate to the Admin Console, the user simply clicks the Administrator persona affiliated with the Admin app. Image 2 represents the Account Menu for a user currently in the Admin app. To navigate to the Production Core platform, the user simply clicks the Member persona affiliated with the Core platform app.

Default Persona

Upon logging in, users are taken to their default persona. In most cases, the default persona is the Core platform app. 

To change the default persona, select “Set as default” in the account menu. The system will remember the defaulted persona going forward.
