The URL field is used by Pepper Flow to link users to the correct job and to show the correct information when the extension is loaded on a page. URLs can be edited only while a job is in preparation, and only if the field is configured to allow for edits.
Edit the URL
If you can still access your job via the web page, you can edit the URL in the following way:
- Open the extension on the page.
- Navigate to the "Details" tab.
- Find the URL field under "Document info".
- Edit the field.
- Click "Save changes".
- In the modal that appears asking you to confirm your changes, click "Change URL".
You will be taken to the new URL, where you will need to reopen the extension.
Edit the URL for a web page you can no longer access
If your web page can no longer be accessed because it has been deleted or moved, you can still edit the URL.
- Find the card for the web page in the library.
- Instead of clicking the card directly, click the … button that appears on hover and select "Open in Pepper Flow Viewer".
- Click the "Details" button in the bottom left.
- Find the URL field under "Document info".
- Edit the field.
- Click "Save and close details".
- In the modal that appears asking you to confirm your changes, click "Change URL".
In the task panel, click "Open Webpage" to go to your new URL. From there, open the extension.
URLs with hashes or queries
If you are on R21 or older, Pepper Flow Digital Review automatically clears hashes and queries in URLs. For example, if you start a job from www.vitality.com#benefits, the extension will use the URL www.vitality.com.
If you are on R22 or later, you may use URLs with hashes or queries. Pay close attention to your URL when starting a Pepper Flow Digital Review job to ensure you are including the necessary parameters in that job.
