Pepper Flow has a set of capabilities that help organizations manage the review, approval, and distribution process for regulatory content on a global scale. These capabilities must be enabled within your Pepper Flow setup.
- Linked Translations enables users to create parent>child relationships between pieces of content in different languages.
- Advanced Content Localization enables users to create parent>child relationships between pieces of content localized to 4+ regions.
If you have these capabilities enabled, you will see options in the 'More Actions' menu of an approved document.
Creating a Child Document
To create a new child document, navigate to an approved document that you perceive as the parent document and select the appropriate job from the 'More Actions' menu.
- Open the document in the Viewer.
- Click "More Actions" in the bottom toolbar.
- Select the appropriate job based on your organization's configuration. Consult your business process to select the appropriate job for the use case.
- On the next screen, complete all required properties. Note: You must select a new Language and/or the Country/Region to ensure uniqueness for the child document.
