New and Updated Features
Jump to Page
When you’re viewing a paginated document, you can now type in a specific page you would like to jump to.
Public URL Update
We restricted public URLs so that now, only people who can generate a public URL can view it. Previously, anyone with permission to see the document could also see its public URL.
Annotations on Expiration and Modify Dates Jobs
When you start an expiration or modify dates/content owner job, annotations from the previous job on that version will now automatically stay in the side panel and on the file. Previously, the option to preserve annotations was hidden; you had to import annotations before completing reviewer selection.
Keep in mind that the edits you make on these annotations will affect later revisions. For example, let’s say you start an extension job on version 1.0 and delete all of the annotations. When you create version 2.0 and try to import annotations, there will be no annotations to import.
Views and Downloads
We now audit in-app document views and downloads on the back end. You can request this data through your customer success manager.
Bug Fixes
- Previously, you could start an extension job on a non-current version, but you would run into an error that would prevent the job from completing. As a result, we removed the ability to start an extension job in this scenario.
- Note: You may still see this error if you vote on an extension job that was in progress before the latest version was created. We recommend canceling these jobs and incorporating the new expiration date into the revision job.
- We fixed an error on the Start Job screen, where if you clicked “save and generate ID” twice, you would accidentally create two documents.
