When a document is distributed to your area, you must review it and determine if you’d like to use it in your area. If you accept the distribution, you then upload a localized version of the file or use an identical copy of the original. In either case, you will also need to route the document for approval in your area. If you decline the distribution, the document will not be copied to your area, and no additional actions are required.
Accept a distribution
- Open the distribution job in the Viewer.
- Review the document and document properties.
- If you decide you'd like to use this document, click "Accept Distribution" in the task panel.
- On the next screen, complete the properties.
- Click "Save & Generate ID" to start a new local approval job.
Decline a distribution
- Open the distribution job in the Viewer.
- Review the document and document properties.
- If you decide not to use this document, click "Decline Distribution" in the task panel.
No further actions are required, and the job will be removed from your Jobs board.
