New and Updated Features
Claims management (opt-in)
This new add-on module allows you to route, review, and approve individual claims and claim variations in Pepper Flow. Use approved claims to substantiate promotional materials and streamline your content creation and review processes.
Claims library
View, filter, and download a list of all claims for a particular product, geography, or therapeutic area in one centralized claims library.
Prepare and route claims for review
Create a claim and substantiate it with approved references from the Pepper Flow library. Add information about your claim, including variations of the claim that should be reviewed and approved alongside the primary claim. Configure a new approval workflow specifically for claims based on your organization’s SOP.
Link approved claims to promotional documents
Substantiate promotional documents with approved claims from your claims library. Link text in your document directly to an approved claim in an annotation or add it as general substantiation.
Auto-substantiate materials with claims and references
Make reference linking quick and easy with Auto Substantiate (formerly Smart Reference). Pepper Flow now scans your materials to suggest claims from your approved claims library and continues to suggest reference links based on prior usage, with an improved suggestion algorithm.
Monitor claim usage
Identify all of the promotional documents using a particular claim version or variation to understand the reach of a claim or the updates needed when retiring a claim.
For more information, please review the new Claims Management section of the Help Center.
Link promotional materials to other material in the Library
Create a relationship between various promotional pieces by linking them to other promotional materials in the Library. These linkages will appear in the new Supporting Material tab of the Viewer side panel along with uploads and URLs.
Clearer distinction between substantiation and supporting material
Locate substantiations and supporting material from new, distinct tabs in the Viewer side panel (formerly all located in the Supporting Documents tab). The Substantiation tab includes all linked references and claims (if enabled), and the Supporting Material tab includes and all other uploaded content, URLs, and linked material from the library.
For more information, please review the Substantiation and Supporting Material help article.
Other Enhancements
- Apply configurable validation rules to job, claim, or document properties to require specific criteria that must be met prior to starting a job. (Opt-in)
- Distributed documents will now inherit the parent’s expiration and effective date on version 2+ when those dates are known at the time of distribution.
- We’ve updated our rendition generation service to provide more accurate and reliable renditions for document types that require them in the Pepper Flow Viewer.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved a bug in Pepper Flow Digital review that allowed users to edit the URL on the start job screen to create a job at a URL where a job already exists.
