Deliver Pepper Flow-approved content to your Salesforce Users with the Vodori API Salesforce Connector

The Salesforce connector is delivered as a Salesforce managed package that leverages the Vodori API to retrieve approved document information and binary files from your instance of Pepper Flow. After completing the installation and configuration of the connector, the materials you select become available as Salesforce custom object records. As custom objects, you can then use your materials within Salesforce as you choose, providing the ability to:

• leverage your existing permissions to display relevant content to the appropriate users,
• create relationships between materials and Contacts, Leads, Accounts, and Opportunities, and
• incorporate data into your existing Salesforce reports and derive new insights around content effectiveness.

Setup

Our team will work with you to help you get started and will provide you with relevant information to install and configure the connector.

Select Properties and Set Visibility Rules

Configure which approved documents should be available within Salesforce and the document properties that should be visible to Salesforce users. You can also add additional metadata to content once an object has been created for it in Salesforce (note: any supplemental metadata added in Salesforce will reside in Salesforce only).

Using native Salesforce functionality, you can manage the permissions for which Salesforce users should be able to access Pepper Flow-approved content and the visibility rules on that content.

Download from Salesforce or Open in Pepper Folio

Once installed and configured, Salesforce users will be able to view approved documents and their properties, see a thumbnail, and download documents from within Salesforce.

For customers who also use Pepper Folio, Salesforce users can instead open those documents in Pepper Folio to view, download, share, and favorite that content. These customers can also measure content usage through Pepper Folio’s analytics.

Validation

Like all Pepper Cloud products, the Salesforce connector is validated and compliant with GxP guidelines. Your CSM can provide documentation to help you complete the validation process.
